Cover glass geometry
Define the outline, edge profile, appearance and thickness allowance. Coordinate these with the enclosure and display support.
BINTU / DISPLAY ASSEMBLY INTEGRATION
Coordinate OLED touch display integration with BINTU Global, from the cover lens and touch requirements to bonding and mechanical fit. Flat or curved cover glass is evaluated against the selected AMOLED module and product design; the final stack requires engineering validation. Review related display applications to frame the integration brief.
Front surface coordination
Start with the product surface, not an assumed stack. Cover and touch options are reviewed against the display and intended interaction.
Define the outline, edge profile, appearance and thickness allowance. Coordinate these with the enclosure and display support.
Match the transparent opening and masking direction to the active area, bezel and alignment allowance.
Review interaction area, controller compatibility, routing and available stack thickness with the intended display assembly.
Bonding & curved cover review
Bonding and curvature need configuration-specific review. They are not default inclusions or proof that a flat panel can follow any cover shape.
BINTU can support review of the display, touch and cover bonding direction. Evaluate material compatibility, reflections, alignment and the proposed assembly process with samples.
Review the cover curve, display position and support geometry together. A curved cover does not automatically confirm matching OLED curvature or a permitted bend radius.
Check the full thickness, bezel, mounting, edge clearance and assembly access. Coordinate the display window with the final front surface.
Reserve routing space for display and touch connections. Review exit locations and connector orientation against the board and enclosure.
Inputs for integration review
A focused brief helps the display, industrial design and mechanical teams evaluate the same assembly.
Cover outline, display opening, appearance direction and any curvature requirement.
Expected touch operation, target UI and special use conditions requiring validation.
Enclosure, mounting, thickness budget and board connector locations.
Sample validation
Review the proposed configuration with engineering information and samples before production preparation.
Define the touch display assembly as a set of responsibilities: AMOLED module, capacitive touch panel (CTP or PCAP where applicable), cover glass or cover lens, mounting and optical bonding. Confirm the proposed touch stack and controller separately from the display interface. Use the OEM display RFQ checklist to share the available drawings, host platform and interaction needs; incomplete requirements can be discussed.
Compare the display window, active area, outline and cover position.
Evaluate appearance, reflections and viewing under the expected ambient conditions.
Check intended interaction and host compatibility with the proposed display and touch stack.
Review thickness, clearances, mounting and assembly access against the enclosure.
Questions before project review
Practical information for your first discussion.
No. Specify the display connection and touch-controller connection separately, including host support, connector and FPC routing. A display bus description does not confirm touch configuration or SPI display support. Cover curvature, bonding method and interaction performance need project-specific validation before the assembly is approved.
No. These are integration directions that BINTU can review with the selected OLED display. The required components, bonding process and responsibilities are agreed per project. A catalog panel or Basic Datasheet does not establish that a complete touch-and-cover assembly is included.
Share the outline, display window, edge and appearance requirements, thickness allowance and enclosure drawing. Include any curved surface and mounting constraints. These inputs allow the cover direction to be compared with the active area, bezel and support requirements of the proposed display.
These requirements can be discussed, but they need configuration-specific validation. Describe the glove material, moisture conditions, UI and operating environment. Touch controller selection, cover thickness and the proposed stack affect the review; no special touch performance is implied without supporting evaluation.
BINTU can review the cover and display geometry together. Cover curvature, panel position, support and bonding compatibility need assessment. A flexible panel label does not confirm unrestricted bending or repeated folding. The selected platform documentation and project validation determine the approved geometry.
Check display-window alignment, optical appearance, intended touch operation, connection compatibility and mechanical fit. Include the planned mounting and real use conditions. Results should apply to the proposed complete assembly, rather than treating a display-only test as approval of the touch and cover stack.
