BINTU / CUSTOM OLED SOLUTIONS

Custom OLED Displays
Engineered for OEM Hardware.

Plan a custom OLED display around your hardware requirements. BINTU Global supplies AMOLED modules and coordinates custom display engineering, including FPC, cover glass, touch and mechanical integration. Panel changes and assembly options are evaluated separately for feasibility. Compare the AMOLED module catalog before defining the changes.

Where customization starts

When the catalog needs a closer fit.

A custom OLED project may involve a different front assembly, connection layout or panel direction. Define which part of the standard configuration prevents integration.

01

A different display window

Compare the visible area, aspect ratio and required UI detail with the product opening. Size selection comes before committing the enclosure.

02

A constrained enclosure

Review outline, bezel, thickness allowance and assembly access when a standard module does not fit the available space.

03

A different host layout

Bring the board position, interface and connector requirements into the shortlist so the display can be evaluated as part of the hardware.

Custom OLED engineering scope

Custom AMOLED Engineering: Define the Scope.

Separate panel requirements from assembly changes. Each direction needs feasibility review against the selected display.

  • Size & active area

BINTU can review target dimensions and suitable OLED platforms. A new active area or resolution is a panel-development question, not an automatic result of adapting the assembly.

  • Form factor & outline

Review the external envelope, visible window and intended flat, curved or shaped direction. Panel construction and mounting constraints determine the usable geometry.

  • FPC & connector

Coordinate cable length, exit direction, routing clearance and connector orientation with the host board and assembly sequence.

  • Interface coordination

Review the selected panel interface, host compatibility and integration requirements. Interface availability is confirmed by reference and project; changes are not assumed.

  • Touch & cover glass

Review touch operation, cover outline, display window and bonding needs around the intended front surface.

  • Mechanical integration

Compare the complete display stack with bezel, support, mounting and enclosure clearances before approving the configuration.

Reference-based selection

Start with a reference. Identify the gap.

The AMOLED Catalog provides available Basic Datasheets for preliminary size, resolution, outline and active-area comparison. Use the BINTU Reference to identify the exact starting product; detailed documents are supplied for engineering review.

Custom project review

From a requirement to a defined configuration.

Agree the scope of change before preparing the proposed assembly.

For a custom display module RFQ, separate the active image area, module outline and cover lens envelope. Share your host interface or controller, touch requirements, mechanical constraints, project stage and estimated order volume. Unknown parameters can remain open for engineering review. Use the OEM display RFQ and engineering checklist to prepare the information available today.

01

Brief & constraints

Share the display window, target resolution, enclosure drawing, host interface and intended use.

02

Platform & scope

Compare candidate references and distinguish assembly coordination from panel changes requiring further assessment.

03

Drawings & samples

Review relevant dimensions and connections, then evaluate viewing, interaction and physical fit.

04

Configuration confirmation

Confirm the reviewed display and assembly details for production preparation. Project terms follow the agreed scope.

Questions before project review

Clear scope.
Useful answers.

Practical information for your first discussion.

Can we start a custom AMOLED inquiry without a complete specification?

Yes. Start with the application, approximate display size, enclosure constraints and project stage. BINTU can review candidate AMOLED modules and integration requirements with your team. Interface compatibility, touch and cover scope, sample arrangements and commercial terms are confirmed for the proposed configuration; an early inquiry does not require every parameter to be final.

Does custom OLED mean developing a new panel?

Not necessarily. A project can begin with a suitable existing panel and a coordinated FPC, touch, cover or mechanical assembly. A different active area or resolution may require a separate panel feasibility review. BINTU helps distinguish the changes needed before a configuration is proposed.

Can I request a non-standard size or display window?

Yes. Share the target visible area, aspect ratio, resolution and available outline. BINTU can compare suitable platforms and review the gap between them and your requirement. The available panel direction and any further development are confirmed during project evaluation.

Can the interface and connector match my host board?

BINTU can review the host interface, connector specification, board position and FPC route with the selected display. A connector or cable adjustment does not establish that every interface conversion is supported. Electrical compatibility and the final connection must be confirmed for the proposed reference.

What should I send before requesting a custom OLED proposal?

Provide the application, display window, target resolution, enclosure dimensions and host interface. Include touch, cover and thickness requirements, plus a preferred BINTU Reference if available. If the brief is incomplete, identify the fixed constraints first so the remaining selection inputs can be discussed.

How are samples and production requirements confirmed?

The scope depends on the selected platform and the changes required. Relevant drawings, technical documents and samples support configuration review. Sample arrangements, production quantities, lead time and commercial terms are discussed per project; this page does not promise a fixed quantity, schedule or ready-made custom module.
